Sad but true. What happened to the Party of Harry Truman ?Harry Truman? Wasn't he the president that left us with an unfinished war in Korea. Sounds like he would be comfortable in todays RAT party.

That's not fair. The only way to re-unite the Korean peninsula and defeat North Korea would have been to fight an all-out war with China. In fact, that's what MacArthur wanted to do, and that's why Truman fired him. It just couldn't be done, the country wouldn't have supported it.
Truman did the right thing.
