I wonder if Canada were attacked if he'd still wait for UN approval? Or defend Canada at all? Chretien might call the attack a "legitimate response by the poor of the world" that hastens the stripping away of the unfair advantages and wealth of the Canadian middle classes.

He'd come and grovel at your feet for help....because we are near defense-less, with an underfunded army of 60,000 troops.
