Many more hidden taxes than listed here. Dine out. Order an "adult beverage". Have a smoke. Stay in a motel room for a night. Check your phone bill: "access charge" = tax. Get a hunting/fishing license. Buy your car tag (you already paid taxes when you bought the car, right?). Own your property? Nope. Try not paying property taxes and see how long you keep it.

Why don't we play a fun game? How many more can you name? I suspect that we pay 55-60% to govt. An God asks for only 10%.

Well, let's not forget that God probably helped get those taxes put on smokes and adult beverages, i.e., sin taxes. Presumably God would be okay with those.
