Is there a difference between "arrested" and "detained"?

Arrested means you have the full protection of the law.

Detained means that you don't.

As for Ceca or Caca or whateverthehell her name is, I hope they stick her ass in a cell and make her listen to Serbian techno-folk-pop Nazi hate songs for the rest of her life.
