Actually Patricia NY Times is reporting that yes for temporality some of US Marines would be under Brit command so maybe Drudge got it wrong I seen update on Yahoo news

So what that our marines may serve under the Brits? In the Gulf War my brothers' unit was attached to the British and they did well, coming home safe with medals and all. The Brits and my brothers' units actually entered Iraq and took a bunch of prisoners. The Iraqis were all surrendering and the only thing they wanted was cigarettes.

Was that golfer in the photo? Or is there a look=a=like? I questionned the comment because that particular poster seems to be anti Bush and anti war on various threads.
