So what were the quotes? I don't remember the line you're referring to in Attack of the Clones and I've never read Starship Troopers (Too put off by the piece of crud movie).

Didn't like Starship Troopers!?! I thought it was an instant classic.

The Heinlein quote is:
""Those who cling to the untrue doctrine that 'violence never settles anything' would be advised to conjure up the ghosts of Napoleon Bonaparte and of the Duke of Wellington and let them debate it. The ghost of Hitler could referee, and the jury might well be the Dodo, the Great Auk, and the Passenger Pigeon. Violence, naked force, has settled more issues in history than has any other factor, and the contrary opinion is wishful thinking at its worst. Nations and peoples who forget this basic truth have always paid for it with their lives and freedoms."" -- Robert A. Heinlein
The quote from Attack of the Clones was made by both Anakin Skywalker and Padme: It was concerning the use of force, which they referred to as agressive negotiation.

Please don't think the movie and the book are at all related, other than the title and the fact that the enemies were bugs.
Run, don't walk, to your nearest bookstore or library and read that one.

The book is brilliant, and nothing like the movie.
