It was a sloping hill down to an amphitheater type stage. The snow just melted this week, finally, so there was lots of mud around - and still some icy area where the sun didn't get to it yet.
Overlooking the hill is the beautiful statue of George Washington, kneeling in prayer. Very fitting.
