LOL, oh my goodness, please don't tell me there's more cooking on the stove! (I personally am *not* looking at the calendar. One day at a time!)
Hey, Angelwood, I'm getting some Freepmails about parking, and I'm telling out-of-towners its best to park in one of the commercial parking garages in city central north of the mall and then walk or cab to the Lincoln Memorial. Especially since this is Cherry Blossom weekend. Do you guys think this is good advice? Is there anything more specific we want to say on parking?

My best suggestion for parking for the out-of-towners -- don't. Instead, hit the
the Metro's website and find out which Metro stops have parking garages. I know for a fact that Vienna/Fairfax and New Carrollton do, and I suspect Shady Grove does as well. Park there and Metro in. I mean it -- driving in D.C. is bad on the best of days and between the rally
and the Cherry Blossom festival, you'll save yourself a lot of grey hairs taking Metro.
