They're waffling. NO GO next week. More UN waffling, that's all. Trying to seek approval from the america-hating UN.

No, they're going to give the obstructionists a chance to hop on the moving train before it pulls out of the station. If they don't jump they miss the ride.

That's the way I understood it. We're going in with or without the UN. It's a waste of time going back to the UNSC, IMHO.

I don't disagree. It's just a matter of timining for the inevitable. I have long thought (and expressed on FR) that there would be a long period of diplomatic tug-o-war, ending with an asault on the new moon of March 31/April 1. Although I was shocked at the actions of Chiraq's government, and a bit disappointed in Putin and Fox.
