Azner: Transatlantic solidarity must be confirmed and the committment to keeping international law respected by all parties.
Blair: More discussion is a delay. Saddam continuing to play games. There's no one on the security council that believes that he is complying. No interview has taken place even though provided for in 1441. 10,000 liters of anthrax still unaccounted for. If we would have given a strong message at the beginning, Saddam would have realized he needed to comply sooner.

British PM....the 10K litres of anthrax which are unaccounted for....as inspectors said...if we had given that strong message some time ago...we make a Final appeal for there to be that unified STRONG message in the int'l communitiy that lays down that message as by 1441...we will do what we can in the short time that remains to see if there is a way through this impasse....after 12 years of failing to disarm..now is the time....documents....Trans Atlantic Alliance...Europe and America should stand together on the big issues of the day....2nd...we've set out that should it come to conflict that we make a pledge to Iraq....the people who are the victims of Saddam

Don't think they want Saddam to know the exact date.
President said something about tomorrow being the day that changes the situation.
Blair seems to be making it clear that the UN stalling won't be tolerated anymore.

The end result which should be by the 17th. This isn't over yet......
I see this as a exercise in voices of opinion. The opinion is finish off the madman and get out of the UN.

Have the two "statements" been released to the press? That is where the answer we're all seeking may actually lie.

I'm surprised that we haven't taken more steps than just starting the air war. I have a feeling that once we get in there, that whole part of the world is going to explode.

Three times now... I wonder what Bush and Blair were REALLY talking about in the Azores

He's (Blair's) been really sick, according to a report I read yesterday.
Bless Tony Blair, he's a wonderful friend to the US. He's really shown what he's made of, during this whole time. I didn't think highly of him during the clinton years, thought he was made of the same stuff as that man, but I've been proved so wrong!

British PM....help Iraq rebuild...do everything to minimize suffering of people of Iraq...then in particular Iraqs nat'l resources remain the property of the people of Iraq....it is theirs and will be remain so....finally on mid east peace process....important now.....roadmap, approach to Mid east is EVEN handed....to make sure vision of mid east w/3 states...

Blair says:
We will protect Iraqi territory and culture. Iraq's natural resources will remain the property of Iraq and her people.
