There's a lot of "we"s here -- the BSA is not a parent, a church is not a parent, Big Brothers is not a parent, the school-system isn't a parent.

But parents have the right to choose the leaders of the BSA, their own church (and you can find anything you want in that category), or Big Brothers. No one should be given an ultimatum "accept this behavior as moral or your kid cannot participate." A volunteer can be accepted or rejected on many behavioral issues. If a bunch of parents want gays to lead their children then they are free to form their own groups.
