I just wonder why this guy waited so long to put forth the truth about the IMPEACHED ex-42. Shame on him, we could have been spared the disastrous second term.
The silver lining, however, is GWB. He is THE man for such a time as this. IF Dole had won in '96, Bush would NOT be President now.
The author carried the football from May 1996 through July 1998. I think it's safe to say that he didn't get the large majority of what's in the book until after the 1996 election.
And I agree that in a sense it's fortunate that Dole didn't win in 1996, because W has in general been very good. I have lingering concerns about what he'll do on immigration and the economy, though.
