What an idiot. What does "act like an adult AND an American" have to do with any of what I said? Would you have preferred that I freak out, grab my wife and daughter, and run off the plane while popping antibiotics??? No, we had a perfectly good airliner and it was ready to go. In fact, I consider it more "American" to not let the terrorists scare us into being afraid of our own shadows. IT WAS FREAKING DUST! FLY THE PLANE!

I think your comment was fair in that you shared your belief that fear of terrorism caused more disruption than actual terrorism. On the other hand, it seems to me there was a time when everyone on Free Republic was not so GD sure of their own pet opinion on everything. I think I've gotten older and the Free Republic crowd has gotten younger and cockier. But hey, I could be wrong.
