Once you earn the title of Vichy Chicks, it's impossible to shake. As Hannity said on Friday after he said that he heard from a big wheel in the country music industry "their career is essentially over". I tend to agree.

"Can't beat a dead horse."

Good point Dakota tribal wisdom states that when you find you are riding a dead horse it is best to dismount

best regards

Or work for them. Or have a financial interest in them succeeding.

GREAT NEWS!

I'm wondering what Drudge's "buddy" that used to run the RIAA is feeling now. Relief that she left before this latest fiasco
in the biz, or that maybe she was wrong and the fans were right all along?

Or that there exists, some Grammy/CBS people who do know something that the artistes (and news division editors) don't?

I'll be interested to see the comments on the comments of the network news anchors. Will they take up the wrongly and woefully applied SAG spin? What am I saying? That last should read "How arrogantly and self-righteous will they push the SAG blacklist spin?"

"...The new system will be up and running no later than 4:00pm CST Monday March 10th, 2003.."

Where? In Bagdad? OR in Paris? And also I think the expected date is off as well...IT should be 2030 instead of 2003.

"entertainers who make themselves our enemies" So now if you don't suppport the president, that makes you an enemy.

What a crock. What bothers me about this whole affair with Iraq is just how easy it has been to persuade the American public that a war is necessary. Come on folks, just how much of a threat is Iraq that we have to actually invade the country and take it over at this point in time? What are they capable of that we are so afraid of. What are they capable of that at least a half a dozen other countries are not capable of? Who can actually say that they are more of a threat than North Korea at this time. Iraq doesn't scare me that much. North Korea is the one talking about a nuclear war!

I only pray that the administration DOES have some bit of evidence that Iraq is as big a threat as we are led to believe. The ability to send men and women into battle is a huge responsibility, not some game. It is a power that should be used only as a last resort. Period, end of story.

It seems that the only people that are questioning the administration, holding their feet to the fire are being labeled anti American and traitors. What I fear more is the day when we stop questioning our leaders and simply follow blindly like sheep.

We are in a war against Muslim terrorists. The word "jihad" means war, and their declarations of "jihad" are declarations of war. They've been carrying out this war for over twenty years. They've done so with attacks on military barracks, attacks on our embassies, attacks on airplanes, and two attacks on the World Trade Center.

Iraq is clearly one of our enemies. If it wasn't clear before, Osama bin Laden's call for terrorists to attack America if we attack Iraq should make it even more clear.

If we want to win, we must attack our enemies and their allies. We will never be able to enact enough security precautions to keep them from hurting us again, and in enacting these measures we reduce our own freedom. Instead, we must kill the terrorists and their allies until they surrender or none are left alive.

Anyone who would say what she said is either an enemy or a "useful fool" unwittingly in their service. Maybe I should amend my original statement to say that entertainers who make themselves useful fools in the service of our enemies should not expect the America public to support them. In either case, complete abandonment by their former fans is the right course of action.

"As a concerned American citizen, I apologise to President Bush because my remark was disrespectful," the country singer said in a statement. "I feel that whoever holds that office should be treated with the utmost respect."

Natalie Main is a "loudmouth whore" giving aid and comfort to an enemy of the civilized world at a time when we have 300,000 of our armed forces about to lay their lives on the line. She's worse than Chirac who at least has vast economic interests in Iraq he's trying to protect. She has acted out of hatred for G W Bush and the US. Her so-called apology is a phoney sham that she tries to pull off to protect her economic interest here at home now that she sees the hornets nest she stirred up.
