The heat in the Dixie Chick kitchen must be rising!

Yes, I think that her co-entertainers, business manager, sponsors and other interested parties read her the riot act.

That's right, I'm sure her sponsors, business partners, managers, and record company execs have formed a line the chew her out good. And when Natalie's little gaffe causes a large drop in revenue, guess who they'll come looking for?

I was a country boy growing up, and my daddy bought baby chickens by mail order each spring. They arrived in boxes with holes in them. The chicks were shipped when they were a day old, and still furry.

We kids learned early that chickens are dumb, and that baby chicks would open their mouths and look up during a heavy rain, and occasionally, one of them would drown. Whenever it appeared likely to rain we went out and rounded up the little ones and put them in their brooder.

All my life I have heard that people become like their names.
