Wish I was there today, sounds like fun.I didn't think it was fun there today, though others did. Seeing the anti-war protesters is like watching the movie Groundhog Day, where you see the same shit over and over again. It gets old. Your mileage may vary.

Fascinating. An interesting debate. I'm with hobblemaster: each time I see these space aliens who like Saddam and think Bush is a war criminal and Ramsey Clark isn't, I can't say I'm not fascinated. It doesn't ever bore me. Back when I was a prosecutor, the pathos of every new crime always "clung" to me. There were other prosecutors who would yawn and say, "oh, yeah, I've had several assaults with intent to kill like that, with permanent maiming," as if there was nothing new under the sun. Because for them, even if the most fantastically weird and violent things could become familiar or boring with repetition. I just never found them becoming familiar or boring with repetition. Same thing with these leftists: my jaw drops just as much each time. Both of your reactions are "valid," to do the psychobabble, I'm just noting that your differing reactions reminds me of differing reactions of prosecutors to repetition of the same crime types.
