It's a good thing Saddam won't help Al-Quaeda with a nuke.

I have it on reliable sources (Dems, Media, France) that Saddam and Al-Quaeda won't coordinate.

Thank goodness New York can sleep safely with those assurances.

Well if they take out Kalifornia first it would give us notice and silence the protesters.

We will get him.

IMHO, we will probably know of the major attack on Iraq in the next few hours or days more so from an announcement of Homeland Defense to domestically go to Threat Orange or Threat Red, before we hear any kind of White House announcement on the attacks, or a Pentagon briefing. We should also watch the Defcon levels for the US military and any noticeable CAP patrols around the usual cities. I think they will want to be in position before we light the candle overseas.

Just my own thoughts. That should be the thing we all look for.

"The greatest danger we face is a nuclear bomb being smuggled into this country," said Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. "The amazing thing is how little we're doing about it."

I'll tell you what, Chuckie - you and Hill go round 'em up just like Slick did.

Stuff it.

How many of these killer nuclear scientists were educated in this country? When do we stop teaching terrorist how to murder millions of us? Check your local college for info... When NY or Chicago, or Washington goes, do we thank MIT or Harvard?

Sources say al-Qaida has tried to recruit disgruntled nuclear scientists overseas, particularly in Pakistan, where nine scientists were reported missing last January. "One of the great worries is that the Pakistani nuclear core is infiltrated by Taliban and al-Qaida," Schumer said.

This story or one very close to it shows up about as often as the moon changes phases. It's going to be said anyway, so might as well say it now. What did Bush know and when did he know it? Saves Hilla the Hun from having to crank up her wheedley voice. Wheedle, deedle.

Duh... You stupid bustard! What effort have we made that Chuckieboy hasn't opposed? What do you think Iraq is about? How in the hell can he say that? What would be his reaction if we started deporting people? What if we began to REALLY shut down our borders? What would he say to increased surveillance? Searches and seizures of non-citizens? No. First and foremost on the to-do list for preventing this scene is taking down Iraq.

If we could get rid of the ridiculous animosity towards racial profiling maybe we could get something done.

We are destroying ourselves from within!

Pakistan is the root and nexus of terror.

A coup against Musharraf led by ex-ISI chief Hamid Gul, a dedicated and fanatical American trained Islamist would make people's eyes bug out and bring into question the whole wisdom of the Pakistan strategy followed since the Attacks on America.

But as long as he hands over a significant alqaeda type every few months, he'll be a golden boy.

BTW, I don't think there's any hidden bombs in the US; if they had them here, they'd have used them.

HELLO????? It would also silence Free Republic since it is based there. Not to mention the fact that there are a lot of good people in California despite its communist political leanings.
