the Dems this campaign cycle are in a classic self-destruct mode....the same behavior that led to McGovern's nomination..whatever we can do to "encourage" this pattern of behavior...

I sure hope so. Your mention of McGovern, together with Clinton's outrageous comments, caused some old Charlie Daniels Band lyrics to pop into my head:

"He's a friend of them long-haired,
hippie-type pinko fags,
I betcha he's even got a Commie flag
tacked up on the wall inside of his garage."

- Uneasy Rider

Yep, that's Bill all right. Amazing, truly amazing - he summed up his eight years as president in two short sentences.

Actually, I think a "fate worse than death" for Clinton would be to send him as Ambassador to Antarctica, and make sure he won't have a phone or any other means of communications.

Can you imagine him, with no public to talk to, no attention from anyone.

That's what I would like: Bill Clinton in Antarctica and have him live a hundred years in solitude.

1. The charter prohibits a citizen of a permanent member of the Security Council from serving as SG...even if the UN amended the charter, Bubba wouldn't take it, because it'd kill any chance Hillary had of running for President...the idea of one Clinton in the UN, and one int eh WH, would make a lot of people nervous.. Well, that's a real good news/bad news piece of information. LOL Thanks for the lesson.

"If Bill Clinton's funeral takes place while I am in D.C., I will postpone all other recreation and attend it."

How many tickets to that event can you get? Also, who do I speak to about securing the beer concession? ;^D

That statement is the reason why Free Republic got started.

Of course Bill would say that, he spent 8 years trying to insure that we would not be the biggest power on the block and he's been planning longer than that to head the UN in his New World Order. Don't worry that the no permanent member nation has ever headed the UN, the US won't have that status much longer.

Bill, you are an imbecile and your mother dresses you funny. Now begone, or I shall taunt you a second time.

When it happens, I'll be sure to save up a half-hour worth of saliva to spit on his coffin.

We tend to think that the dems are somehow political geniuses..but they're not...they controlled Washington for years, by promising bread & circused, and got fat and lazy...now they're on the outs....the same clowns filibustering Estrada, now, 5 months ago were grinning and laughing and clapping at the Wellstone memorial service, and look what trhat got them....the difference is that its takent he GOP longer to learn how to govern, how to use power...but they've got the hang...the GOP rules the House..the Dems are in a permanent, diminshing minority...you watch the committee hearings...they ignore the Dems......soon, the senate

The big media has protected them for 40 years.

Those days are starting to be over, but unfortunately people get 70% of their news from the networks.

".....when we're not the biggest power on the block."

I'd say that would be about 5 minutes after they try to inaugurate Hitlery as President. I truly believe it will never happen------but then I never thought the sheeple would elect a rapist pig either. Thank God for W, he may not be my ideal President, but I can proudly say that he is my President.

You're correct, but much has changed....look, the two really big geo=political events of the last 15 years were the collapse of the Soviet Union and the Warsaw pact, and Gulf war I....but lots of the inside data, like Soviets atrocities, weren't made known to the public...during GW I..there was only one news net..CNN...and the internetr w as in its infancy...Now, we have the net is full throat, and we have three cable news stations, and talk radio..so all of the rocks will be turned over in Bagdad, the truth about what Saddam has been up to will come out, and the new information mediums will make it possible to make every lib/Dem and media type eat his words, and crow, every day....we'll be able to discredit a lot of folks...

adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United
States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall

We need to be creating a world that we would like to live in when we're not the biggest power on the block.

We need to be creating a cesspool that we would like to live in when we get pushed in.
