"My comments were made in frustration, and one of the privileges of being an American is you are free to voice your own point of view."

Yep. But what about the rarely talked about 'responsibilities' of being an American? One of those is taking the heat for what comes flying out of your mouth. The D. Chicks did such a great job with the Super Bowl anthem and have really been on a roll lately. This is just the type of show-stopper comment that will turn the fans away. It's got me pissed off and I'm a big fan.

I always stay around for the anthem and the commercials on super bowl Sunday. But not this SB- I decided it was my patriotic duty to boycott them girls singing our beloved national anthem. I have been boycotting them ever since they made their comments regarding Toby Keiths "Angry American."

I always hate it when people screw with the National Anthem. I am almost ashamed to admit this but I think the most respectful rendition of it ever was the Backstreet Boys who I nothing about. If I could find it on tape soemwehere I'd buy that in a heartbeat.
