I am so sick of people calling conservatives "terrorists" and "nazis". I guess name calling is popular among anti-war types, but the ignorance of it is breathtaking.

I think anyone calling us terrorists should go take a bus ride in Jerusalem so they can truly enjoy what it is to exist under terror. Terror is when someone you care about is blown to bits by someone who hates simply who they are (true racism).

The interesting poster was the guy claiming to be a 'Nam Vet...I have met many and they don't usually refer to it as having "been in 'Nam" or "I was in 'Nam"...I've found that most people who were actually in country refer to it as anything but 'Nam.

I also don't think most of the posters to the site are Dixie Chicks fans, they appear to be nothing more than DU trolls. Most of the name calling and threatening I've seen on FR has come from DU trolls or one-time wonders who've been removed.

I would not worry about this, as anyone who is the least bit curious about Freepers will visit our site and find that, even when we get heated debates going, we are still, for the most part, courteous to others.

Anyone who is swayed by the postings at the DC site without checking out for themselves the wonderfulness of Freeperdom is probably not the type who'd post here anyway.

Or better yet, let them go to Iraq and mock Saddam, the president they seem to think is so much better than ours.
