There was an issue of substance in there too... Do you really think that if this poor little girl had a bit more "self-esteem" she could have resisted the long term effects of kidnapping and indoctrination?

I think that is incredibly naive. She did what she had to do to survive, and that had a corrosive effect on her psyche. She wound up not even sure who she was. The scars will be with her for a long long time, maybe for the rest of her life.

I think we need to give this little survivor all our love and prayers.

I wish more people would take your lead on this. The rest of the threads dealing with this subject is nothing but gossip and slanderous allegations.
