In his sick mind, it legalized the rapes he intended to commit. I heard a psychologist on the radio this morning speculate that the woman accomplice went alone with it in order to get some sexual relief (from him) for herself. True. Although usually these are small cults with a leader who believes himself to be a prophet of God, if not a god himself. OTOH, the dirty little secret of atheism is that the atheist makes himself God by creating his own moral code in order to justify some sinful practice, usually a sexual sin.
