Lesser known facts of World War II

THE INCIDENT which triggered the Second World War was the simulated attack by the Germans on their own radio station near Gleiwitz on the Polish border. To make it appear that the attacking force consisted of Poles, prisoners from a nearby concentration camp were dressed in Polish uniforms then shot and their bodies placed in strategic positions around the radio station. A Polish speaking German then did a broadcast from the station to make it appear that Poland had attacked first.
This was the excuse Hitler needed to invade Poland on September 1st. 1939.

The fake Racak massacre in Kosovo gave Clinton his excuse-this laughable assertion that Iraqi is about to attack thus giving us the excuse we need smacks of desperation from the neo-con news sources. What a disgrace, IMHO. I am for the war, but don't insult our intelligence with a fig leaf excuse.
