You know I do not agree with most of your posts. But the cops REALLY did screwed this up. She was in hills about 3 miles behind her house until August, nobody took the the CHAD guy sighting seriously. It had to be Mitchell he saw... to top it off they did find 3 sets of tracks behind the house. The cops focused too much on Ricci and Edmunds.

I do want to add that I think he held her behind the house in the hills as part of a way to control her. Maybe he told her if she tried to escape he would make it to her family before she did. Also she may have been blindfolded and did not know at the time she was 3 miles behind her house. Maybe she was scared if she ran that she would run in the wrong direction. It may have took them 3 months in the hills to brainwash her and after they took her out of SLC maybe she was too far gone and out of reality.
