Like everybody else, I suppose, I'm glad the kid's safe, but I have to wonder: What is it about this case that so grabs national attention? Is the Smart family real prominent, or something? I'm sure this would make good fodder for the National Enquirer, et al, but FOX News?? What have I missed?
