A woman unknowingly snapped a picture of the three here in Lakeside California. She just thought it looked so odd to see this here. She called the Rick Roberts Radio show and they contacted Utah police. Also, it seems that Emmanual spent some time in our El Cajon jail for vandizing a church. Here's the picture:

Where did you read or hear that she tried to escape? I didn't say she wasn't kidnapped, she may have been but she did NOT try to escape her kidnappers when it would have been easy enough. Recently there was a little girl who risked her life to escape and did but it seems in this case, this girl never tried ---unless you have some source that claimes she did.

Others see it as helping people less fortunate than themselves. You'll never get it.

A naive do-gooder will bring home vagrants --or as you call them the less fortunate --and expose their children to them and also teach their children that these are just good people down on their luck. To me the family doesn't sound bad ---just hopelessly gullible and they allowed their children to become that --so they aren't able to fight back when they can ---a more street smart kid would likely have saved themselves when escape was possible.

No. They weren't "arrested." They were wanted for questioning, and they got two separate calles from people who claim they had seen the guy on the photograph.

The cop stopped him because of those reports.

There is a difference between "being arrested" and being taken in for questioning.

He was never "in" the Smart home before he BROKE in.

He was employed for five hours one day, working ON THE ROOF of their home ALONG with Ed Smart.

We studied it in High School. God is the center of wheel and all the different spokes represent the different religions. All paths lead to God, who is the center of all things. They said that the temples were designed on the principle of the wheel. That's about all I remember of it. I think Seals and Croft were Bahai, but I won't swear to it.

Oh yea, your average street kid would know how to get away while a KNIFE IS BEING HELD TO THEIR THROAT. Why do you people think you know everything?

I don't see the knife being held to the girl's throat in that picture you posted. Why didn't she run when those pictures were taken? It would break my heart to think my own daughter would be raped over and over but not try to escape when the opportunity was there.

A) We don't know if there was sexual abuse
B) SHE WAS BRAINWASHED...SHE WAS A LITTLE GIRL. You're acting like she was a grown woman.

How do you know he was never IN? Maybe he went in when they paid him, maybe for a snack or a drink. He probably staked the place out for awhile. Why do you want to blame this little angel girl?

Then the circumstances in Lakeside are similar, except for the photo of the suspect to support the witness.

The question is, where the hell did these folks get the money to travel to all of these places? What about money for food and lodging and what about all the people at the parties-didn't they recognize her? This is a Fing wierd story and there is more to it than what is being reported.

I never said she wasn't brainwashed ----you said she couldn't get away because of the knife on her throat which wasn't obvious in those pictures you posted. I don't think any 14 year old can consent to sex with anyone --much less a 49 year old pervert. Just like a 15 year old stipper they just found working in a local strip joint, anyone using children for sex should be arrested, never let out or executed ---including the owners of the strip bars that hire underage girls. But they aren't so these criminals will continue to prey on young children.

Also I would hope even my 7 year old would escape from a kidnapper the second he had a chance to escape. I would hope he would not give a false name if questioned by the police but to yell out for help.

His butt-ugly wife was in on it too. She was not left along for 6 days.

I think some people don't want to think this can happen to good normal people, so they've got to deamonize the Smarts to maintain the illusion that they are safe.

Others just want they cynical world view validated and can't handle a happy ending, or just can't let go of their pet theories and prejudices.
