Not surprising to those of us who feel he's been sheltered in Pakistan by prominent islamijihadisISIMilitary types, far more than sympathisers, indeed actual supporters of the goals of the International Islamic Front.
IMO, he moved from ToraBora to Peshawar to Karachi ( a sprawling mosque compound, Binori, literally a small town with 10,000 people who virtually live there); possbily moving back to Kashmir as the winter eases. Possibly holed up for the winter someplace inaccessible, like along the Karakoram highway, the road link to China from Islamabad.
I believe he's been in Pakistan all along, and all that talk about Somalia, Yemen and Indonesia was designed to potray Pakisan in a favorable light.
We may even have him, i think. Hard to say, based on all those reports coming out recently.
Either way, it's obvious now that a serious jihad offensive is underway in Kashmir and the rest of India.
The carnage and increasing rate of bomb blasts points to a newly emboldened Musharraf, letting loose the jihadis as he knows America isn't going to say or do much due to the capture of Khalid
