I gotta tell my Neil Armstrong story. I met him at a glider pilots' party in about 1965 before he had ever been in space. I asked him what he did, he said "I work for NASA". He had flown from Houston to Dallas in a light plane with a couple of other glider guys and the weather had turned awful with a couple of crashes reported. I told him I hoped they didn't plan to fly back that night. He said "yeah, that even scares me, and I'm supposed to be fearless!" Time would tell us more about that line.

I LOVE the movie, SPACE COWBOYS!

Guess my age is showing...those for men were hot! (Well, 3 were, anyway.)

Apparently, they'll be able to use the same Hollywood set that provided the background for the "actual" moon landing in this movie.

Clint's a big recycler.

There's no question he's a hero, but I think his life story will be very dull. I'd rather Eastwood think about filming Ronald Reagan's life story. Now that wouldn't be dull!

The point is whether he should have said: "...for a man"

I know. He blew the line. I just provided a link to the audio to make it a multi-media Free Republic experience. :o)
