I am with you. The laid back attitude of conservatives of “buy their products” is why our ideals get run into the ground. This is a huge issue and groups like GLAAD manipulate companies even though they represent 1% of the population by mobilizing and sending emails and letters. Conservatives need to get off their asses and write these companies and tell them they are pissed. They need to crash the GLAAD website with emails letting them know they won’t be pushed around by a deviant organization that will deny Michael Savage his freedom of speech, but are mum on NAMBLA. DO SOMETHING PEOPLE!!!!!!

Good to know about Dell.......particularly since they had no problem with their Dell dude getting arrested for buying marijuana on the street. This past week he also engaged in an anti-war demonstration with the rest of the so called students.

Anyone considering purchasing a Dell should think of an alternative.

You response is reasonable... If a company pulls their advertising, do not do business with them.

All 6 national advertisers for the Michael Savage show have pulled their ads: Procter & Gamble, Dell Computer Corporation, Casual Male, Idea Village, Cole Media Group and The Sharper Image. All 6 companies should be informed by Free Republic, ideally with a letter and signatures, that their products will suffer a boycott by Republicans nationwide until they respect the American principle of free speech. Conservatives likely constitute roughly 1/2 of their customer base. We will lose our resolve if he get into a battle of nuance with them (and quibble amongst ourselves)- our message should be simple. If you cave to liberal pressure groups and selectively censor conservative programming, you will be boycotted by Republicans nationwide, and this will pale in any comparison to a boycott by gays&lesbians. Your business will suffer as a result of your partisanship. For every quote they can pull on Savage, I can pull an equally racist/unprofessional quote from Nina Totenberg or other "journalists" in the liberal media. There is no excuse for this selective censorship. I'm going to start with contacting these companies by e-mail, but ideally we can get a petition going somehow. If you have any suggestions, do post them.

I think he's going to fail regardless. I honestly don't know how he held on to the radio sport for as long as he has. All the guy does is yell slogans and hang up on people. Hell, anyone can do that. What's so hard about that?

But, I don't want to see the fags run him out of town. That's not acceptable. No need to embolden the gay lobby any more than it is.

Unfortunately, when he does fail under his own weight, they will be righ tthere to take the credit for it. Call it a (ahem) "blow against homophobia!" and such things.

Here's my email to the two dell representatives:

Comments????

To whom it may concern -

I am interested in purchasing a new laptop and had pretty much decided
on a Dell..... until I heard you pulled your advertising from the Savage
TV show that was going to be appearing on MSBNC.

I'm not sure if it was some Gay-rights organization or others that
convinced you to do this, but unless you change your mind, I will
purchase my computer from another vendor.

It's a shame that here in the USA that oranizations like NOW are more
concerned with the Masters Golf Tournament than injustices and known
inhumane treatment of women in so many countries.

I would expect more from an organization like Dell. There is freedom of
choice - and I know you have to balance your choice of losing business
by sponsoring the show and losing consumers. But we consumers have
choices to.... driven by principle that extremist groups will not impact
our decisions.

I hope you change your minds... and policies. I think you make the best
computers on the market! Shame some of us won't support companies that
are intimidated by extremist groups. There is a grass-roots movement
that is occuring because of your actions.

My best regards.

Savage is like Rush, but without any manners (ha!) . . . the guy has a decent conservative message, but it can't get through because he's such a meathead

Michael Savage: To Hell with the Conservative Media !

"I'll put my advertising in the liberal media," Savage said, sounding off on the lack of conservative media and conservative website coverage his new show received, after its airing on MSNBC, this past Saturday.

He went on the attack mentioning the "Great Bill O'Reilly with tongue in cheek" and other "talking heads" on the "conservative and liberal aisles going out" after their shows with their guests, with whom they had just argued with in front of the camera, "for martinis and discussing how they had screwed the audience". Savage believes his show will be different and true to the audience.

I bought his book. Now he can prove himself to the public that MADE (by word of mouth) his book a best seller for over 5 weeks. He wants you to read his book in a public place on the 31st of March to PROMOTE his book. He's reading his book on the show. I haven't opened the book yet and feel I have read it already!

I for one think Mike Savage is a rude, vulgar creep. I don't run a Fortune 500 company, but if I did, I'd never advertise on his show.

I get nearly all my clothes at CasualMale. I will certainly let them know that I support their advertising of Savage's show.
