This country was racist

Of course it was racist. It still is racist. And some blacks are some of the most racist people on earth.

That's what I was saying in the first place. If more blacks want to be treated fairly, then maybe they're going to have to reciprocate.

And since America is being flooded by people who do not have to carry the obligatory guilt trip, blacks are going to lose concessions granted them in the 60's and beyond.

Therefore, it's in their own best interests to grow up (the blacks who are racist and whining that they continue to be oppressed).

We are in complete agreement then. I am glad to know this.

*I know this all too true unfortunately and in very personal ways. See my posts on West Indian immigration! When I started out in college, I tried to understand 'black rage' and joined the black student's union. Except, the more I tried to understand and fit it, the more I heard a lot of anti-white hate, and things like 'you have to forget about your dad most white men aren't like him'. Really, the less I tried to 'feel people's pain' and just remembered what my parents taught me, the better off I was. More and more I believe that conservatism and pure American Dream is the solution to 'black community' problems.
