The government just gave a news conference broadcast on TV:
1 They confirmed Djindjic died from wounds to the stomach
2 Announced 3 days of mourning
3 Declared a state of emergency in the country

- This is a rough translation as I was on the phone while the conference was going on so please excuse any mistakes.

Personally I can tell you that the streets in Belgrade are jammed. Traffic is not moving anywhere. Police are searching all luxurious cars around the area where the shooting occured. Thats all for now.

I take from #3 above, that they don't think they have in custody the responsible parties?
