honestly, what career?

She looks like she's funny, but i've never heard her doing an original bit, she's never made me laugh. i've almost always been disappointed by Garafalo and, like some other posters have stated, she has charisma. I want to like her and see her do well, but she consistently dissappoints in appearances and performances.

Her act stinks. She's a an example (a very bad one) of the sad state of comedy today (it's become all political with zero fun and amusement). People like her and David Cross and others are just trying TOO hard to "be hip" and they attack subjects that were sacred cows a half century ago. Religion, for example.

They all want to be Lenny Bruce, who was overrated and made famous by publicists and journalists.

So what you get is stale, not funny, not edgy, not intriguing and not even interesting.

They should dump her over Iraq because everytime i've ever seen her since Reality Bites and The Truth About
Cats and Dogs which was ten years ago, she BOMBED!!!!!!!

She's too angry to be funny. Always has been. She was okay on Larry Sanders, and that was her best work. Mediocre is really about all you can say about her. Well, mediocre and angry.

Wait -- I thought all her 'protesting' WAS part of her new comedy act. I thought she was funny getting all excited when she argued. Bet she had a um..... well...... is this site censored? *L*
