These are the same people that predicted a US attack on Iraq last November.
I'm not holding my breath.

If true, then Michael Gurdus and his mouth may be headed for a little legal trouble with the US military.

Israel is a nation of news junkies. Everyone from the street sweeper to the prime minister covets the news, current and right up to the minute. Israelis want to be well-informed about everything from the latest soccer game scores to the latest-breaking international story.
Being in the know is extremely important because everyone has an opinion to express, and everyone strives to support opinions with the freshest facts from a favorite media source and journalist.
The Israeli electronic and print media rise to this challenge, providing news and feature stories not only in Hebrew and Arabic (the countrys official languages) but in Russian, English, French, Spanish, Amharic, Farsi, Ladino, and Yiddish as well. There is even an official listener: Michael Mickey Gurdus and his staff monitor and summarize news from regional and world radio and television stations for national radio and television.

Cool, I have my popcorn stocked...just need to take off work that day. Hope the e-bomb doesn't knock out all video broadcasts of the fireworks.

Anyone who has ever been in the military knows such an order would absolutely never be relayed over the radio.
This report is rubbish. The reporter who made it up obviously knows nothing whatsoever about the military.
BTW: Drudge linked to this story as well. He should pull it ASAP, just to protect his own credibility.

he heard the order being relayed to U.S. fighter-jet pilots Why would this order be given to pilots?
Commanders, maybe.
But I would think pilots would be given the GO at the last minute.
The need-to-know is low, I think.
