Yes. Many times.

I smoke and am VERY courteous of nonsmokers.

Not everyone thinks like you. And that was precisely my point: there was a lack of common courtesy and the person refuses to show any consideration.

It is so unfair that all smokers are being painted with a broad brush because the actions of the selfish minority of smokers.

In the meantime, tell your friend to place a fan blowing outwards by where the smoke is entering. That should provide enough of a breeze to keep the smell out. :)

Either that or start watering the plants on her balcony whenever the rude ones come out to smoke. hehehe.
