This just underscores the need to get our military in there and get the job done. Enough fussing with the diplomacy. Especially since France guarantees the veto. Why would they want to destroy their perfect record of appeasement?

You are too kind... their record is not one of appeasement, but of treason, betrayal and jew hatred... they participated in the holocaust. France, Germany, together again... just like the old days. The good French, and I am convinced there are some... are the minority and I personally implore them to get the hell outta dodge... before it is too late. It is nearly too late now, in my view.

Has anyone seen the article where Bush Sr gave a speach and said in it that Bush Jr should go with the UN and not go this alone? It was on the Times UK about a day ago.

I think sometimes that stuff like this is leaked to get the type of reaction that you gave. My opinion is that whatever we do, the most important critics will be from within. I don't believe it matters much what other countries think, Bush does not need there votes to be re elected, it's what our citizens think.
