Personally, I wouldn't have fired her, but its not my company.

If it were my company, and I was paying the rent, the insurance, the utilities, the healthcare, the salaries, etc. I would want my right to fire whomever I pleased, for what ever reason I pleased, to be preserved.

It's supposed to be a free friggin country.
