There will be an attack, bet your life on it. The problem is the waiting subjects the massive troop deployment in the Kuwaiti desert to some kind of preemptive attack by Saddam or Al Queda. Also the degrading of our equipment and the morale of our troops suffers each day with continuing sandstorms and extremely high heat that will occur shortly.
Neither Bush nor any republican could be elected dogcatcher if these troops are brought back home while Saddam is crowing.
