Milledgeville is a very historic town. It was the first capitol of Georgia, has lots of Confederate monuments.

I wish we'd had more time to spend there. We ate lunch at a great Italian restaurant, but had to hit the road for the two-hour drive back (and up until this morning I was thinking it was a little over an hour away....DUH!!)
