BTW, see #30 for my dog. The sad thing is that he would not have been allowed to go to a home with children because he had been found as a stray. Just look at him with my 3 year old grandson sprawled across his back. He is just great with kids and tolerates all their shenanigans!

you just posted his clone I got him from a client when I worked at a veterinary clinic. He had a brother that went to another home. Hmmm. . . have long lost doggie brothers been reunited?

The Inscription on the front reads as follows:
25 Marine War Dogs gave their lives liberating Guam
in 1944. They served as sentries, messengers, scouts.
They explored caves, detected mines and booby traps.

I say...CALL PETA. Ask them if they saw that footage of what Saddam did to the Beagle puppies.
Let's tell them they are hypocrits if they don't act. I say call them and call them and call them.
Let's ask them if there were ever a more blatant act of horror to an animal....forget the flies in California -- let's see what PETA is REALLY made of - let's see what they do for a true atrocity!

I am sorry to hear about your loss. My German Shorthaired Pointer is going to be 13 years old and I believe at this point, he is living on love. I am in the grieving process already . I do not know how much longer the good Lord will give him. But he has certainly been a precious gift as I am sure yours was.
Be blessed that you knew the pure love of a dog.
My the good Lord comfort you in this time!

My goodness gracious, what a thread!
I'm crying like a baby over the WTC link.
Every dog, ever born, just wants a human to love and to be loved by in return. I've got dogs at the Rainbow Bridge, and more to follow. But I want to meet that dog that has "saved up kisses forever" because he's never had a human to love.
If we treated each other as our dogs treat us, this would be a wonderful world, wouldn't it?

Nope. His mother came out of PEKAY Kennels in Atlanta. We bread her and she had nine puppies. He was the pick of the litter circa 1993.
