Show will fail trust me.Why isn't he sitting on a stool or something? He keeps shifting all around. And the leather jacket doesn't work on TV.
And I think they have the teleprompter on the floor below the camera, because that's where he keeps looking as he talks.

No I don't think Bush should have shown that footage. He needed people like Savage to continue to build the case as the average American citizen that knows what's going on.I agree. I had to miss the live press conference but had a chance to hear Greta Van Sustern remark later that she'd been hearing about Bush being a "cowboy" and being all gungho after Saddam. She said his demeanor struck her as thoughtful, but determined to defend America. Not at all as if this was something he wanted to do.
So my opinion is if folks like Greta Van were impressed, the tone was the perfect one to take--for the circumstance.
And he betrayed no smirk as he struck the Helen Thomas custom from the event.

He needs to get rid of the microphone
To: Samurai_Jack
I think if he were sitting down in front of a mike he'd look a lot better.
I strongly suspect that that will change. He is a good conversationalist, so once they reposition the teleprompter, he'll look better.
He's better in colloquy, I'll say that much.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

I never have listened to Savage but so far this is boring. Sure, I may agree...but this schtick aint working for me on first impression. Give me some confrontation! Some straight up liberal stomping!

Michael Savage is a CLASSLESS jerk! His ego is even bigger than O'Reilly. I've tried listening to him on radio since he came to Boston in November. He is nasty, snotty and so into himself -- again, he is a JERK and believe me I am being nice.
that means he is great! This show is going to be a big hit!

I think it is US that need to get used to seeing him, rather than listening. He is using the same foremat as he does on his radio show.
The mike is distracting, tho.
Oh boy, the hollywood idiot of the week? He can only choose ONE?

Yeah, that might be the problem here... when confronted with a sufficiently radical guest he might fold.
To: Samurai_Jack
Sorry Samurai Jack -- I just can't stand the guy! How many times is he going to say I, I, I, me, me, me? His all encompassing ego is a complete turnoff. Still watching though!

We have to remember too that PMSNBC is NOT good at program formatting IMHO so I am not surprised they have a lousy set, a microphone, having him standing, and the teleprompter problem. FOX would have made better decisions in this arena.

Still watching though!Me too, but the Sedition Act??? Does he not know that it was repealed and is no longer in the US Code? Oh god help him if he doesn't know that.

I dont disagree with you ... He has a platform and an agenda and thats what will likely be his downfall. There are too many issues and he only presents his point of view. I happen to agree with his point of view, but will not make a popular show.
