So THAT's what happened. I couldn't make the 11:00 meeting, and arrived at the W.H. at 1145, hoping to find the gang. I mosied around the W.H. complex until 1:30, didn't see any pinkoes, so I left to go shopping.

There was a group loudly protesting government support of abortion in front of the White House, in the favorite tourist spot for pictures on Pennsylvania Avenue, but they were anti-Bush as well, so I ignored them.

I'm sorry we missed you. There were alot of people milling about in front of the White House--alot of them wearing pink. We found JVb there, but couldn't find you.

We were hoping you might see our American flags in the distance. We'll be doing something next week. We'll try to keep you better informed.
