If Bush wanted to humiliate the French, he'd break their imperial pretentions in Africa; that means, taking out Mugabe, who is obviously a friend of Chirac now, and helping our Christian bretheren in Cote d'Ivore. After all, they asked for help against Chirac from Bush. ;)

I would be all for Bush and Blair sending about 5,000 - 10,000 troops to Ivory Coast, with enough armor and air support to make any Frog-smooching jihadist or his French Legionaire handler think really hard about trying anything stupid. Seeing the expression on Chirac's face when he realized that we weren't going to allow his Islamofascist pets to rape yet another nation would be well worth the price of the deployment.
