Bravo!

The timing could be poor, though. You KNOW that the Left-leaning parts of the media will paint this as American aggression abroad. To them, any attempt to rescue oppressed innocents is barbaric.

I don't think that this President cares much about timing, or polls, or what the media says. I think that this President cares about the American people and their safety. I think that this President takes his oath of office very seriously and he intends to fullfil that oath no matter what it may cost him politically. This President will do the right thing, no matter the cost to himself. That, my friends, is the sure mark of a leader and a statesman.

God bless George W. Bush and God bless the United States of America.

<< ..... the ... media will paint this as American aggression abroad. To them, any attempt to rescue oppressed innocents is barbaric. >>

What is barbaric in this action -- and in every similar action -- is that one-more-time a well-intentioned enabler [President Bush] has used other people's [American Taxpayers!] money and has intervened to deny a tyrant and his subjects the dignity of the consequences of the tyrant's actions.

It is NOT "good" to feed Rhodesia's starving while allowing the zimbabweans' choice of leader to skip off to France for pansies'-labels-on-the-outside shopping, chateaubriand and Veuve Cliquot.

Either rid them of their once-great-British-colonial-bastardry-created oppressor by invading and killing the oppressor -- or leave them to the fate they, by their moronic choices, brought upon themselves.

There is only one way to the "teach a man to fish" permenant solution.

CONSEQUENCES!
