We need some more resolutions. Call Colin Powell and ask him to deliver another speech. Call a press conference and state our resolve. Nothing is too drastic in these times of perpetually imminent peril. Ready, set, wait. Talk some more. Rattle the sabers. Wait for the inspectors. and so on, and so on, and so on...
I need a drink.

Or to God a night is like 4400 nights or 4400 nights is like one night. And a "rush to war" consists of 4400 days.

A blix on both their houses.
To: knak
I heard someone on TV the other day (Woosley I think) saying Blix owed his job to the Russians and French.

We're still a couple, maybe three, weeks off from any full attack. As I posted on another thread, this is like the time my wife and I had our first child. She went almost a month overdue, and then took 30 hours to deliver. The woman had absolutely no consideration whatsoever for my tattered nerves.

Bush was very clear in his speech today. "Substantial progress" is the wrong answer. FULL COOPERATION is the winner, and EVERYBODY knows that's not what's happening. His speech was a message to the UN and the other peaches: Are you with us or against us?

"...he better start...on a plane
leaving Iraq".
Don't mean to nitpick, but it says a
lot that Blix never works in Iraq; he
visits there occasionally. It's his
underlings who work there.
Blix is "in a New York frame of
mind", oh yeah...
To: bonesmccoy
Ow! Now my ears hurt.
The UN won't obtain a copy of the Bacillus anthracis from Iraq for two reasons:
1.) Iraq denies having any and thus will hide it from Ignorance is Blix and his merry band of inspectors; and
2.) the UN doesn't want to know the results of that comparison.
To: ConservativeLawyer
If the UN can't or won't obtain the anthrax, the UN is impotent, worthless, and fraudulent.
I'm in favor of ending fraud.
How about you?

The UN is worse than impotent and worthless. It gives cover to tyrants and evildoers.
It should be ended; but I'm not holding my breath.
To: Scott from the Left Coast
He's still couching every war comment with "if necessary", so he's still holding out an opportunity for diplomacy.I'm glad he's doing that because he'll be able to say that he, in all good faith, gave Sadaam and the UN every opportunity before he lowered the boom!

The woman had absolutely no consideration whatsoever for my tattered nerves.LOL!! Don't blame it on your wife; it's the KID'S fault! We women have to wait until the baby decides it's time to be born, unless we want to subject ourselves to those vile labor inducing drugs. Ack, spit!

Not just genetic comparison, but chemical comparison of the agent.
