Somebody needs to tell Bush that he should come out
on fire in these news conferences.
This is a sleepy opening statement. I don't understand why a man of conviction doesn't preach it.
This low modulation doesn't inspire. He sounds as if he's giving a eulogy.

I agree. If you mean it, SOUND and ACT like you mean it. Reasoned, measured words and body language don't cut it right now. So far, I see no reason for this presser.

Dubya is trying to speak softly and carry a big stick imo. Dubya is simply not acting "gung ho" which is fine with me. He gave the left no ammunition to that effect to use at their little protests.
