I'm not buying this poll for a minute, but it does remind us of one thing: The American electorate was fool enough to elect the lying male slut - twice. They could just as easily fall for his so-called wife too.

I don't see much value in this poll, but I do see a trend from recent conversations that the typical American's attention span is frighteningly short. This war was not started by President Bush. It was brought to our shores. It's amazing that many people have already forgotten.

The dreadful way in which Bush keeps pandering to the UN is not exactly inspiring support here in the US.
To: areafiftyone
This is why Bush needs to get Iraq over with quickly.

Two years into Sinkmaster's Presidency, polls said Bob Dole would defeat Bill Clinton in 1996, and President Reagan's approval rating was under 40% in 1982. We all know what happened.

After Iraq folds in 15 minutes and OBL is captured (IMHO both will happen within 2 weeks) GW's approval will shoot through the roof. Come election time, the Stock market should be around 9500-10,000 and the economy will continue it's slow upswing. We'll be fine.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA I love these polls. The left will listen to it and think they are winning and get complacent. I bet I could get better numbers polling Berkeley, the left does not care how the numbers were gained as long as they fit what they desire.
They thought clinton told the truth too. Even funnier is those idjits at DU are constantly saying the voters are idiots - so this poll suggests idiots vote for dems...BWAHAHAHAHAH

All I know is, when I want to ascertain the opinion of the average American, I think immediately of the dogged pollsters at Quinnipiac University. Sheeze.

They could just as easily fall for his so-called wife too. Yup, don't be surprised in the least if she is indeed elected president. When she decides to run, the media will go nuts and unleash the greatest pro-candidate propaganda-disguised-as-news blitz in the history of the world. Count on it.

This poll is counter to any poll I've seen recently. It's pure rubbish and intended to lift the spirits of all Democrats who have nothing to look forward to but despair.

Yes they do polls for New York City, New York State, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and National Polls.
Frequently cited by journalists, public officials and researchers, the independent Quinnipiac University Poll regularly surveys residents in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and nationwide about political races, state and national elections, and issues of public concern, such as schools, taxes, transportation, municipal services, and the environment. Known for its exactness and thoroughness, the poll was selected a "winner" by the New York Post for the most accurate prediction on the Schumer-D'Amato Senate race in 1998, and results are featured regularly in The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, and on national network news broadcasts. Student interviewers use a computer-assisted telephone interviewing system to collect data from tri-state residents. For a typical public opinion survey, a randomly selected sample of about 1,000 registered voters age 18 and over are interviewed over five or six days. The polls are conducted at the Polling Institute on New Road, adjacent to the main campus.
