Let me unsimplify it a little bit: Nothing is done about the crime and abomination of prison rape because too many people (like the scum on this thread who get off on prison rape) think it's either deserved, or is just funny.

I hold no brief for Lindh. I wish him all the worst, but I was making a general comment on how F'd up the prison system is.

The main problem is that the "corrections" officials think they run the place.

Nothing about this incindent has even mentioned that he was raped, in fact the latest says that it was just a prison fight and he got a little scraped up.

Did I say that it was to bad he didn't go the way a dahlmer? Hell yes. Was dahlmer raped? No, he was beaten to death which is probably a lot less painful than what his victims went through.

Yet when you responded to me you immediately, and have continually since then, mentioned prison rape.

And you still haven't shown me any evidence of someone going to federal prison for minor pot posession or a traffic ticket and subsequently being raped by someone HIV positive or killed while someone was attempting to rape them.

If you will read this thread, you will see numerous posts expressing the hope that Lindh will be raped. I was responding to those as well as your post expressing the hope that he will be murdered.

His lawfirm was so embarrassed that he took the case that they moved heaven and earth to keep their name out of it. Morrison & Foerster, aptly nicknamed "MoFo," should be under constant pressure about this. Their clients desrve the chance to switch firms.

As for Lindh, why is anyone surprised that prisoners beat up on him? Least of all his high-priced lawyer? Perhaps the wily barrister requested his transfer to general population knowing full well that other prisoners would take action....then attorney could argue for Jihad Johnny's early release "for his own safety." Or even sue the prison system for allowing the little twerp to get bashed.

After reading the whole thread I couldn't figure out why no one had mentioned the fact that up until recently he had been protected by muslim inmates. Also the words of the anonymous caller to the San Bernadino Sun: The message said, 'Yes, I'd like to inform your newspaper that John Lindh Walker, who is incarcerated in Victorville, was assaulted this night by a white-supremacist organization that is imprisoned there. Thank you.'
