He went to Fiji, a great place inhabited by some really good people.

That mouth-breather Savage is perhaps the worst person I can think of to present the conservative case to the American public. PMSNBC deep-sixed Alan Keyes, one of the most eloquent American convervative voices today. Now, they're bringing in an obnoxious loudmouth who provides no original insights and does nothing but spew bumper sticker logic and trash George Bush. Keyes advanced our cause. Savage is a gun aimed right at ourselves. He's an effing fool that on the eve of the last Congressional elections, was screaming and whining that he didn't care anymore about elections, didn't see why we ought to vote - then the results came in and a couple of days later he was trumpeting the great and important victory. What a wuss.

I rarely watch much of television news. I feel for Dr. Laura but don't feel she's strong enough to defend herself against these scum. Savage just needs to continue to stand for his p.o.v. These leftist scumbags are very good at beating down their opponents. It's time the conservative starting beating these scumbags down at their own words. It's a war on principles as well as Country.

Why did he change his name from Weiner to Savage?

I've wondered this too. I've never actually heard how he pronounced it. No matter how its pronounced it sounds bad. Weener or Whiner? "Savage" will do.

Savage does not "trash" Bush out of hand. He calls bush on issues he disagrees with and sings his(Bush's) praise when he shares the Presidents ideals. Unlike a certain man named after a great Canadian power trio...

And yes.. Keyes is teh AWESOME :)

Rush is a Kool-Aid drinking conservative who sees nothing wrong with the party no matter if they are wrong.

Patently false. Rush was criticizing the Bush administration's Middle East policy for weeks on end in the fall of last year, and was excoriated for it by many in his listening audience. (And there are many other similar instances of his "disloyalty"). He's not a GOP shill by any stretch.

If it was still "Wiener" perhaps the fags would like him more.

Wouldn't you?

From what I've heard, the queers would like him a lot more if he was still a Weiner.

Granted Rush started the movement but his time has long passed. Rush is a Kool-Aid drinking conservative who sees nothing wrong with the party no matter if they are wrong.

I love Savage too, but you are wrong about Rush. He was on fire this week, best on years. And he is hardly a sycophant...he has been a constant critic of Karl Rove and the "new tone" nonsense of the GOP. I wish he would mention the evil Grover Norquist from time to time as well, so th White House takes back its passes to that Wahhabist traitor.
