Hundreds of years ago, The African Women of the Baoule Tribe danced nude in their villages to stop the war between local tribes… On March 8, the Raelian women, inspired by their African Sisters, invite all Women around the world to join in disrobing ceremonies to stop the war between world tribes.

On Saturday March 8, the Raelian women convey the thousands of women who are expected to attend the peace walks in Washington DC and Los Angeles to join them in a solemn disrobing ceremony to the words of a universal prayer at 1PM local time in both cities, in front of the White House in DC and in front of the Westwood Federal Building 11000  Wilshire Blvd in LA.

This Ceremony which is to impact both the spectator’s and the participant’s consciousness, as a group of human beings undress down to their most humble state, reconnecting with the essence of Life will mark the symbolic birth of new world consciousness: Femininity (found in both men and women) will save humanity! A historical conference presenting this concept and its enormous implications will be held in DC on Sunday March 9 at 3PM (Crowne Plaza Washington National Airport Monticello Room 1489 Jefferson David HWY, Arlington VA) and in Los Angeles on Sat. Founder: Claude Vorilhon (1946 - )

Profile:
Raëlians follow a belief system established in 1974 by the French racing-car journalist Claude Vorilhon. Vorilhon claims that in 1973 he was visited by a 4-foot humanoid alien who took him aboard its spaceship and told him that a race known as the Elohim, "our fathers in space," wanted Vorilhon to be their messenger to the human race.

These Elohim were responsible for the creation of a multitude of human religions, but now they wanted to "set the record straight" and inform humanity about their true origins. Past religious leaders - including Moses, Jesus, Muhammad and Buddha - had been informed about the truth, but the message had been perverted and distorted over and over. According to Vorilhon, who adopted the new name of Raël, these aliens created the human species through genetic engineering some 50,000 years ago.Vorilhon was also to establish an embassy for them here on Earth - he proceeded to do just that, determined to help humanity learn about the Elohim's message of peace, tolerance, love of science, and sexual freedom.

Religion or Cult?
One important debate about the Raelians is whether they are a religion or are simply a "cult." Certain aspects of their beliefs, like the emphasis on free sexuality, make them look very cult-like to outsiders. This, combined with the apparently outrageous ideas about aliens and genetic engineering have led quite a few to conclude that Raelians are not a "real" religion. However, truly impartial perspective has to ask how the Raelian beliefs are any more outrageous than many of the beliefs of mainstream religions. Why is it that liberals love to take off their clothes in public, LOL. It reminds me of a nudist camp here in Ga., a few years back. The freaks wanted to come to a country town here and have this freaky nudist camp.
