MSNBC moving ahead with shock jock Savage's show despite protests before it begins

NEW YORK (AP) Before it even debuts this weekend, talk-radio star Michael Savage's new MSNBC show has attracted more attention than anything else the struggling news network has on the air.

Advocacy groups, led by the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, have launched a letter-writing campaign to keep Savage off the air. The syndicated radio personality fought back by calling his critics ''stinking rats who hide in the sewers.''

I can't wait!!!! Savage and Glenn Beck are, in my opinion, two of the most "genuine" independents/conservatives on the talk circuit. Cheers to Savage and all of his current and pending success.

Who sets these boundaries? GLAAD has got to be one of the most far left of the homosexual groups.

I sincerly hope Savage's show is a success. My worst case scenario is that he ends up embarrassing himself by venturing into subject matters that he doesn't know a great deal about.

I went to San Francisco in Jan. & I see why Dr. Savage's show is the way it is. He IS being SENSETIVE.
